WWE SmackDown Results And Highlights On 10/24/25

Cody Rhodes And Drew McIntyre Brawl

  • Before this segment, Cody Rhodes shared a moment with Jimmy Uso backstage. Jimmy thanked Cody for sticking up for his family, and Cody asked Jimmy if everything was okay between Jimmy and Jey. Of course it’s not.
  • Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre picked right up where they left off from last week, right down to trench coat Cody Rhodes screaming “Enough!” The brawl ensued after McIntyre began taking shots at Jimmy Uso’s wife Naomi.
  • Jimmy Uso hit the ring and attacked Drew McIntyre for his comments. This brought out Solo Sikoa and the MFTs, who had a match against Shinsuke Nakamura and Rey Fenix.

WWE SmackDown Opening Segment Grade: B-

MFTs Def. Shinsuke Nakamura And Rey Fenix

  • Per usual, Rey Fenix started this match like a house afire and earned “Let’s go Fenix!” chants. Fenix showcased his all-world rope work as a Luchador.
  • Corey Graves described Shinsuke Nakamura and Fenix as legends in their native lands, who were trying to build on this in WWE.
  • Every member of the MFTs got involved as this felt more and more like a four-on-two handicapped match. The numbers advantage proved to be too much as they scored the win. If Penta wasn’t so tied up in the Intercontinental Championship, he’d be a great candidate to even the odds.

MFTs vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Match Grade: B

Tiffany Stratton Def. Kiana James | Jade Cargill Turns Heel

  • Tiffany Stratton and Kiana James went back-and-forth, which is quite surprising considering James has played the role of a manager for most of her stay on the main roster.
  • After Tiffany Stratton’s victory, Giulia hit the ring. James and Giulia double-teamed Stratton. Jade Cargill made the save and cleared the ring. Cargill helped Stratton to her feet and handed over the WWE Women’s Championship. Suddenly, Cargill clotheslined Stratton and mauled her. Jade Cargill has officially turned heel, and this was much needed.
  • Heel Jade Cargill received massive heat when she posed with the WWE Women’s Championship, but ther ewere also cheers mixed in.

Jade Cargill Heel Turn Grade: B

Ilja Dragunov Def. Aleister Black

  • Fans chanted “You deserve it!” at Ilja Dragunov, but other than that, they didn’t seem to be into him at all. Dragunov cut an emphatic promo about how he was going to continue the tradition of the United States Open Challenge. Dragunov’s fire and passion were great. The crowd response? Not so much.
  • Aleister Black and Zelina Vega answered Dragunov’s open challenge. The aura of this act is off the charts, and it seems way too early for Black to be losing.
  • Zelina Vega stuck Dragunov with a hurricanrana on the outside. The two were already in the next gear by the time SmackDown came back from commercial, with the crowd chanting “This is awesome!”
  • There were a pair of nearfalls for both competitors that each caused extreme panic from Vega. Dragunov hit the Torpedo Moscow on Black, but hurt himself in the process. Vega got involved again, but the referee kicked her out to a huge pop.
  • Damian Priest’s walked out and distracted Black. “It’s punishment time.” Priest removed his sunglasses to reveal a wound over his eye from Black’s fireball. Dragunov hit the H-Bomb on the distracted Black, and retained the US Title.
  • After the match, Priest beat down Black and grabbed a couple of chairs. Zelina Vega pounced on Priest from behind and ripped at his bad eye. The Black family escaped through the crowd.

Ilja Dragunov vs. Aleister Black Match Grade: B+

Drew McIntyre Def. Jimmy Uso

  • The brawl happened halfway into Jimmy Uso’s entrance as Drew McIntyre ran up on him. Free from the constraints of Missouri’s wrestling regulations, Jimmy and Drew battled into the crowd. By the time they battled back to the ring, McIntyre pulled out a table.
  • Jimmy Uso grabbed a fan’s hand for help to run across the barricade and dive on Drew McIntyre. The fan seemed initially confused at Jimmy reaching his hand out, and the delay was probably why Drew had enough time to recover and counter the dive.
  • After taking a series of brutal chairshots, Jimmy rallied back and hit an awesome Whisper in the Wind from the top rope. Jimmy set up the table in the corner. McIntyre hit the Future Shock and took control of the match. Jimmy hit a Samoan Drop through the table. Uso ate a falying chair wheh ne tried the Uso Splash, and McIntyre won with a Claymore Kick.

What the U.S. shutdown tells us about market resilience

The post What the U.S. shutdown tells us about market resilience appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. During the U.S. federal government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) went into contingency staffing mode. Almost a hundred crypto ETF decisions got stuck in approval limbo as a result, and key economic-data releases from agencies such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau were paused. For crypto, that blackout became an unscripted stress test, as the industry suddenly lost its usual regulatory support elements. And given that the crypto market often prides itself on being decentralized and self-sufficient, this is a moment of truth where it can prove that claim. How do crypto traders, exchanges, and issuers perform when oversight suddenly vanishes? Let’s take a look. What Actually Pauses in a U.S. Shutdown: ETF and token-filing reviews: Routine processing of ETF and token registration documents is largely suspended, as reflected by the SEC announcement. Issuer communications: Many correspondence channels between the SEC and registrants are inactive during the shutdown. Federal data releases: Reports such as jobs, inflation, and trade data are delayed, per Census Bureau and Bureau of Labor Statistics notices prior to the shutdown. A Pause in Oversight, Not in Action The shutdown didn’t just stop new rules; it halted everything that gives the market structure and visibility. And with enforcement activity slowing to a crawl, that leaves crypto issuers, exchanges, and traders navigating the silence on their own terms. For issuers, it’s an exercise in patience. There’s nothing to do but wait. Projects with pending ETF or token applications simply can’t move forward, no matter how ready they may be. Bureaucratic timeouts don’t discriminate — they hit all momentum equally. Exchanges, meanwhile, are keeping steady. The more experienced ones understand that running smoothly during a regulatory blackout is the best insurance policy. If anything goes wrong…
