PANews reported on October 17 that the 4th ETHShanghai conference will be held in Shanghai from October 18 to 22, 2025, and will be divided into two major sections: hackathon and main summit.
The hackathon , held from October 18th to 21st, will focus on three tracks: AI and Ethereum Integration, DeFi Infrastructure, and Public Goods. With a total prize pool of $15,000, 100 developers will be selected from over 500 applicants, and 30-40 projects will be incubated and launched on-site in Shanghai. Winning projects will receive funding, incubation recommendations, and ecosystem partnership opportunities. The champion teams in each track will also be able to present their work on stage at the main summit to top investment institutions.
The main summit will be held on October 22nd , when more than 40 industry leaders, including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Wanxiang Holdings Vice Chairman and Wanxiang Blockchain Chairman Xiao Feng, the new co-executive directors of the Ethereum Foundation Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak, and ETHPanda co-founder Bruce Xu, will take the stage to discuss core topics such as Ethereum expansion, modular ecology, developer growth and long-term security.
