Twenty-two companies, including global payment providers Visa and Mastercard, have officially joined Fintech Alliance PH.

The induction took place during the organisation’s 2026 General Membership Meeting held on 11 March at the Marquis Events Place in Bonifacio Global City.

Department of Information and Communications Technology Undersecretary Renato “Aboy” Paraiso led the oath-taking ceremony.

Alongside the global payment giants, the new roster includes Security Bank, Grab Financial Group, ShopeePay, and the Asian Institute of Management.

With these recent additions, the alliance has grown to over 150 corporate members.

The association reports that its current members process over 95% of the retail digital financial transaction volume in the Philippines and provide services to more than 110 million accounts.

During the gathering of more than 600 industry leaders, the alliance discussed the newly launched Fraud Intelligence Data Sharing Network, an initiative aimed at fighting cybercrime.

Organisers also noted an expanded engagement with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council to support regional collaborations.

Lito Villanueva, the founding chairman of Fintech Alliance PH, emphasised the importance of these cross-sector partnerships in scaling digital finance.

He stated that collaboration between banks, fintech firms, and regulators is essential to make digital payments “more accessible, secure, and widely adopted”.
