  • Pudgy Penguins announced the launch of Pudgy World as a browser-based free game.
  • Pudgy World launches The Berg, a multiplayer frozen map where players help Pengu find Polly.
  • Pudgy World is part of Pudgy Penguins’ expansion into the mainstream.

Pudgy Penguins, an Ethereum-based NFT collection brand, has launched Pudgy World, a free-to-play browser-based game.

The Game, Pudgy World

The NFT brand announced the launch of Pudgy World in its latest post on X, describing it as a game where players can explore 12 unique towns across The Berg. Gamers on the platform will help Pengu find Polly and play mini games.

Pudgy World’s set, The Berg, is a fictional frozen landscape comprising 12 unique towns. The newly launched game features a storyline tasking players with helping the central character, Pengu, track down a missing friend, Polly. The game features multiplayer, allowing players to explore The Berg together in real time.

Another Milestone for Pudgy Penguins

Notably, the launch of Pudgy World marks a significant milestone for the NFT brand, which has evolved beyond a regular digital collection and is aggressively expanding into mainstream products. Pudgy Penguins’ IP coverage embarked on a steady expansion after Luca Netz, the brand’s current CEO, purchased it in 2022.

It is worth noting that Pudgy Penguins has produced physical toys featured in Walmart and Amazon, and a mobile game called Pudgy Party, which rose to become a top-ranked mobile racing game in Apple’s App Store within three days of its release.

Pengu Token Responds to Pudgy World Launch

In the meantime, the Pudgy Penguins ecosystem token, PENGU, has surged by over 11% in the past 24 hours, reflecting increased adoption following the launch of Pudgy World. PENGU bounced off a $0.006384 low to aim for the top of a sideways channel, which it has maintained since the beginning of February.

Pudgy World’s launch could reflect a well-timed renaissance for Pudgy Penguin, considering the ongoing rebound in the broader crypto market. According to CoinMarketCap’s data, Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has gained over 7.6% in the past 24 hours, suggesting a potential return of bullish sentiment in the cryptocurrency market.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
