The crypto sector is surprisingly making a recovery, irrespective of the escalating war between the United States and Iran. Hence, the crypto market capitalization has jumped by 1.51%, hitting the $2.33T mark.

In addition to this, the 24-hour crypto volume has touched the $126.03B mark after a 36.01% increase. Along with that, the Crypto Fear & Greed Index has surged above the “Extreme Fear” zone to enter “Fear” territory while accounting for 20 points.

Bitcoin Surges by 2.03% and Ethereum Sees 1.42% Increase

Particularly, the leading crypto asset, Bitcoin ($BTC), is currently changing hands at $68.018.23. This price level indicates a 2.03% increase while $BTC’s market dominance sits at 58.4%. Additionally, the flagship altcoin, Ethereum ($ETH), is now trading at $1,998.74, presenting a 1.42% surge. In the meantime, the market dominance of $ETH stands at 10.4%.

$BPX, $DOGS, and $HBTC Dominate Crypto Gainers of Day

Apart from that, the list of top crypto gainers of the day includes Black Phoenix ($BPX), HARRIS DOGS ($DOGS), and Hold BTC ($HBTC). Specifically, $BPX has surged by a staggering 2981.89%, reaching $0.1285. Subsequently, $DOGS shows a 1395.45% increase in price to hit $0.2659. Following that, $HBTC is now trading at $0.000003203, displaying a 89324% increase.

DeFi TVL Records 2.10% Jump and NFT Sales Volume Undergoes a 48.32% Spike

Simultaneously, the DeFi sector has recorded a 2.10% TVL spike, attaining the $94.863B mark. Additionally, the top DeFi project in terms of TVL, Aave, has witnessed a 2.18% jump, touching $27.155B.

However, when it comes to 1-day TVL change, WoofSwap has emerged as the leading DeFi player, accounting for a notable 4745% increase over the past twenty-four hours. Similarly, a 48.32% increase has placed the NFT sales volume at $5,373,232. In the same vein, the top-selling NFT collection, Flying Tulip PUT, is 175.32% up at $1,888,498.

Concurrently, the crypto sector has gone through many other key developments over the past 24 hours. In this respect, Nasdaq has filed with the U.S. SEC to introduce prediction market goods.

Moreover, Binance has restarted tokenized stocks in collaboration with Ondo Finance, incorporating ten tokenized U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and stocks to the Binance Wallet and Binance Alpha platform. Furthermore, the crypto volume of Iran has dropped by 80% but stays structurally stable.

The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams.
