For a while, it looked like The Rolling Stones would both release a new album and embark on yet another global tour in 2026. Late last year, any potential concert venture was called off, but new music is expected from the legendary rock outfit. There’s no date yet for another Rolling Stones full-length, but following the Grammy-winning success of the group’s comeback project Hackney Diamonds, which dropped in 2023 and stood as the band’s first album of original material in nearly 20 years, expectations are high.

Before The Rolling Stones begin promoting an upcoming album, the band debuts inside the top 10 on a pair of charts in the United Kingdom with an unlikely hit.

The Rolling Stones Score New Top 10s on Two Charts

Alongside electronic dance producer Fatboy Slim, The Rolling Stones score a new top 10 smash on two sales rankings in the group’s home country. “Satisfaction Skank” launches at No. 5 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart and one space lower on the Official Physical Singles tally. The first of those two rosters looks only at the top-selling tunes available on wax, while the latter is slightly busier, as purchases of CDs and cassettes as well as vinyl are also included.

How Many Top 10 Hits Have The Rolling Stones Earned?

The Rolling Stones have now claimed an even dozen top 10 hits on the Official Vinyl Singles chart. The group is up to 16 appearances between No. 1 and No. 10 on the Official Physical Singles tally.

On the two lists, The Rolling Stones have seen four tracks rise all the way to the summit. “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” “Angry,” “Living in a Ghost Town,” and “Ride ‘Em on Down,” all led the way for a short while.

Fatboy Slim Expands His Top 10 Total

Slim doubles his total number of top 10s on the Official Vinyl Singles chart as “Satisfaction Skank” debuts. He previously climbed to No. 3 with “Praise You,” which launched on the list in 2022, many years after it became one of the musician’s most familiar tracks.

Slim has now sent eight cuts into the highest tier on the Official Physical Singles rundown. “Praise You” led the charge for one frame and debuted more than a quarter-century ago. The DJ and producer’s two loftiest placements, “Praise You” and “Right Here, Right Now,” both launched on the sales list in 1999 and surged to Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

“Satisfaction Skank” Opens Behind Olivia Dean and Jorja Smith

The Rolling Stones and Slim score the third-loftiest debut on the Official Physical Singles chart this frame, coming in behind Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (to Fall in Love)” and Jorja Smith’s “Blue Lights,” which begin their times at Nos. 1 and 4, respectively. Two other tracks, Laufey’s “Valentine” and Eminem’s “Stan,” reenter the roster at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.

Over on the Official Vinyl Singles roster, “Satisfaction Skank” stands as the fourth-highest-ranking entry this period. Dean and Smith debut ahead of the unusual pairing, and Eminem’s “Stan” appears on the tally for the first time at No. 3. Laufey’s “Valentine” fails to return to the summit as it breaks back in right under the summit, in the runner-up space.

The Rolling Stones/Fatboy Slim Mash-Up Sells Well Again

GLASTONBURY, ENGLAND – JUNE 29: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY) Fatboy Slim performs on the Luna stage during day five of Glastonbury festival 2025 at Worthy Farm, Pilton on June 29, 2025 in Glastonbury, England. Established by Michael Eavis in 1970, Glastonbury has grown into the UK’s largest music festival, drawing over 200,000 fans to enjoy performances across more than 100 stages. In 2026, the festival will take a fallow year, a planned pause to allow the Worthy Farm site time to rest and recover. (Photo by Jim Dyson/Redferns)

As “Satisfaction Skank” becomes a top 10 bestseller on physical formats for the first time, the track finds its way back to the Official Singles Sales chart. The Rolling Stones and Slim break back in at No. 31 on the list of the bestselling tunes, regardless of genre, language, length, or how fans purchase them. In the 10 weeks that the collaboration – which is essentially a mashup between “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones and “The Rockefeller Skank” by Slim – has lived on the list, it has worked its way to lucky No. 13.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
