TLDR

  • Ripple Prime now integrates Hyperliquid, allowing institutional clients to access on-chain derivatives and decentralized liquidity.
  • The integration enables clients to cross-margin positions across digital assets, forex, fixed income, and other asset classes.
  • Ripple’s platform offers a streamlined approach with a single counterparty relationship for managing both traditional and decentralized assets.
  • XRP perpetual futures are already live on the Hyperliquid order book, alongside other major assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
  • Ripple continues expanding its prime brokerage services, merging decentralized finance with traditional financial services.

Ripple has announced that its Ripple Prime platform now supports Hyperliquid, enabling institutional clients to access on-chain derivatives while managing exposure across digital and traditional asset classes through one counterparty, offering broader liquidity options and streamlined risk management.

Hyperliquid Integration Expands Access to On-Chain Liquidity

Ripple Prime will now allow institutional clients to trade Hyperliquid’s on-chain perpetual futures. This integration enables access to decentralized liquidity alongside traditional markets.

Clients can cross-margin positions across digital assets, fixed income, forex, and other supported instruments. This simplifies portfolio management and enhances capital efficiency.

Ripple stated that clients will “access Hyperliquid liquidity while benefiting from a single counterparty relationship.” This reduces complexity and counterparty risk.

The integration comes as Hyperliquid gains daily trading volumes in the billions. Its on-chain order book remains one of the deepest in decentralized finance.

Hyperliquid supports a variety of assets, including XRP, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. XRP perpetual futures are already live on its platform.

The protocol also supports spot assets. Two fXRP pairs are actively trading on the Hyperliquid exchange.

Ripple Expands Prime Brokerage Services to DeFi

Ripple continues to expand its prime brokerage offering. The firm aims to bridge decentralized finance with traditional institutional services.

Michael Higgins, Ripple Prime’s international CEO, commented on the update. “We are excited to continue leading the way in merging decentralised finance with traditional prime brokerage services.”

He added that Ripple Prime will offer direct support for trading, yield generation, and digital assets. This move addresses growing demand for efficient access to liquidity.

Ripple’s platform provides institutional clients with access to both cleared and OTC derivatives. These tools integrate alongside crypto assets within Ripple Prime’s infrastructure.

The company emphasized improved capital deployment and efficiency. Clients can now manage exposures with a unified infrastructure across traditional and decentralized assets.

Ripple has also secured regulatory progress. It recently obtained a preliminary electronic money institution license in Luxembourg.

XRP Ecosystem Sees Boost from Hyperliquid Support

Hyperliquid already supports XRP perpetual futures. These instruments trade alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum in high-volume environments.

The exchange’s deep order books enhance liquidity for XRP markets. This benefits both speculative and hedging strategies in decentralized settings.

XRP spot pairs are also live on Hyperliquid. fXRP markets provide additional utility for the XRP token on-chain.

The integration supports broader adoption of XRP. Ripple clients can now interact with XRP markets through a regulated, institutional-grade interface.

Ripple’s move aligns with growing interest in decentralized trading platforms. Hyperliquid’s infrastructure meets institutional performance standards.
