A GOP congressman on Sunday lashed out at his fellow Republicans, specifically calling out their positions as "not conservative."
Rep. Don Bacon, a prominent Republican who at one time issued a grim warning about Trump's legacy, over the weekend took to social media to skewer his own colleagues. Bacon also spoke up against a Trump nominee weeks ago.
On Sunday, he wrote, "We have what I call 'Ted Kennedy Republicans,'" and included a list of purported qualities they share:
"*Weak on Russia & China
*Isolationist
*Government owning shares of companies
*Restricting who buys homes
*Price controls
*Caps on salaries."
Bacon added, "These are not conservative positions. Populism is not conservative."
