Meanwhile, Zcash (ZEC) offers a flexible model in which users can choose between shielded or unshielded transactions.

Neuner argues that the latest US administration has shifted from a hostile stance toward privacy coins to one that recognizes privacy as a fundamental right.

He said that even a fraction of Bitcoin’s market share could drive Zcash to much higher valuations.

ZEC Price Analysis: A Bullish Inflection Point?

ZEC is trading around $540 level while repeatedly testing a long-standing support. A confirmed breakout above this region would be the first clear indication of renewed bullish momentum.

MACD readings remain neutral but flattening, while the RSI sits near 42. Interestingly, if Zcash successfully defends the green support zone, a major bullish target lies near $1,400.

Five-Digital Valuations

Neuner claims that even 10% adoption relative to non-private assets could send ZEC toward $10,000+, a scenario in which ZEC effectively becomes the leading form of private digital money.

On the other hand, failure to hold the green support could trigger a deeper retracement.

ZEC Set for 20x Gains? All Eyes Now on $HYPER Presale Surge

Zcash may be targeting a massive 20x move, but it’s Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) that’s stealing the spotlight right now as the presale crosses $28 million.

In a race to scale Bitcoin, $HYPER is building a complete Layer 2 solution.

Apps, trades, and innovation all live natively on Bitcoin via Solana-level speed and low fees, powered by the Solana Virtual Machine.

With momentum building fast, $HYPER is positioning itself as one of the most talked-about projects in the next phase of Bitcoin evolution.

Bitcoin Hyper wants to bring memes, DeFi, NFTs, and high-speed applications directly onto Bitcoin’s security base, making it much easier and faster to use the blockchain network.

Developers get speed; users get security; the Bitcoin network gets relevance beyond being digital gold.

The HYPER token isn’t just something to trade, it’s what powers the entire Bitcoin Hyper ecosystem.

It’s used to pay for transactions, stake for rewards, vote on key decisions, and fuel the apps being built directly on this new Bitcoin Layer 2.

As the network grows, so does the utility of HYPER across everything running on it.

Early supporters, eager for massive upside, are already locking in staking rewards reaching up to 41% APY.

To buy $HYPER at the current price of $0.013325, head over to the official Bitcoin Hyper website and connect a supported wallet, like Best Wallet.

You can swap existing crypto or use a bank card to complete the transaction.

Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum

Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum

The post Crypto whale loses $6M to sneaky phishing scheme targeting staked Ethereum appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. A crypto whale lost more than $6 million in staked Ethereum (stETH) and Aave-wrapped Bitcoin (aEthWBTC) after approving malicious signatures in a phishing scheme on Sept. 18, according to blockchain security firm Scam Sniffer. According to the firm, the attackers disguised their move as a routine wallet confirmation through “Permit” signatures, which tricked the victim into authorizing fund transfers without triggering obvious red flags. Yu Xian, founder of blockchain security company SlowMist, noted that the victim did not recognize the danger because the transaction required no gas fees. He wrote: “From the victim’s perspective, he just clicked a few times to confirm the wallet’s pop-up signature requests, didn’t spend a single penny of gas, and $6.28 million was gone.” How Permit exploits work Permit approvals were originally designed to simplify token transfers. Instead of submitting an on-chain approval and paying fees, a user can sign an off-chain message authorizing a spender. That efficiency, however, has created a new attack surface for malicious players. Once a user signs such a permit, attackers can combine two functions—Permit and TransferFrom—to drain assets directly. Because the authorization takes place off-chain, wallet dashboards show no unusual activity until the funds move. As a result, the assets are gone when the approval executes on-chain, and tokens are redirected to the attacker’s wallet. This loophole has made permit exploits increasingly attractive for malicious actors, who can siphon millions without needing complex hacks or high-cost gas wars. Phishing losses The latest theft highlights a wider trend of escalating phishing campaigns. Scam Sniffer reported that in August alone, attackers stole $12.17 million from more than 15,200 victims. That figure represented a 72% jump in losses compared with July. According to the firm, the most significant share of August’s damages came from three large accounts that accounted for nearly half…
