Following yesterday’s sessions in MSU – Tawi-Tawi, today’s discussions engaged another group of students from History, Education, Business Management, and Political Science, strengthening their understanding of the BARMM parliamentary system, the upcoming elections, and the importance of informed and responsible voting.

The morning and afternoon sessions were facilitated by Atty. Helen Graido and Ms. Louwallien Donnah Velez of LENTE. Students also discussed key electoral issues such as abuse of state resources, vote-buying, and disinformation—helping them become more informed and responsible voters.

These sessions are part of LENTE’s ongoing voter education efforts across the Bangsamoro region this April, ahead of the election period.

LENTE remains committed to empowering voters and strengthening electoral participation, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
