Trump officials on Friday revealed the latest drawings for the proposed 250-foot triumphal arch inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, connecting at the Arlington Memorial Bridge near the Potomac River, according to reports.
The Commission of Fine Arts, the federal design panel, received the renderings, The New York Times reported. President Donald Trump has placed his allies in the group, which will meet next week to discuss the drawings and design from Harrison Design, an architecture group with a Washington D.C. office. It's the president's latest architectural mark on the nation's capital.

"The president has proposed the arch, which would rise on a Washington roundabout across the river from the Lincoln Memorial, as a way to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and cement his legacy as president," according to The Times.
Trump has made several major architectural changes, including his abrupt decision to demolish the White House's East Wing to make way for his long-imagined $400 million ballroom.
