ZKP Launches $5M Giveaway While BNB and XRP Face Price Resistance – Crypto Updates Today

As of late January 2026, the broader digital asset market is experiencing a period of cautious consolidation, marked by low volatility and waning institutional appetite for established tokens. While traditional market leaders face a tightening range, with the Binance Coin price dropping by over 17% in volume and the XRP price USD seeing $40.5 million in weekly ETF outflows, the Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) project is actively expanding its footprint through an infrastructure-first model. The next big crypto often appears from these quiet periods by offering verifiable utility rather than speculative hype.

By focusing on decentralized artificial intelligence (AI) and cryptographic verification, ZKP is positioning itself as a technical alternative to the status quo. To accelerate community adoption during this sideways market, the network has launched a $5 million giveaway alongside its structured presale auction, signaling a shift toward projects that prioritize physical infrastructure and mathematical proof over centralized institutional trust.

ZKP Launches $5M Giveaway While BNB and XRP Face Price Resistance – Crypto Updates Today

BNB Stalls Near Key Resistance

The current Binance Coin price is hovering around $879.45, with a market capitalization of $119.92 billion. Technical analysts are closely monitoring a critical resistance level at $980; a failure to break above this mark could lead to a correction toward the $785 or even $600 support zones. Trading volume for BNB has recently dropped by over 17%, indicating a loss of short-term momentum as the ecosystem matures.

Market participants are observing a narrowing price range on the daily chart, which suggests that the asset is searching for a clear directional trend. While the long-term trend remains structurally bullish on higher timeframes, the active short-term correction has led to increased liquidations of long positions. This lack of immediate strength in the Binance Coin price has prompted investors to look toward emerging protocols that offer high-performance computation and hardware-backed security as potential diversifiers.

XRP Faces Institutional Cool-Off

The XRP price prediction USD sits near a delicate support level of $1.89, just above a critical zone between $1.85 and $1.86. Despite occasional bullish signals, institutional demand appears to be cooling, evidenced by $40.5 million in weekly net outflows from XRP-linked ETFs in late January. Large-scale whale wallets have distributed roughly 90 million XRP, valued at approximately $170 million, which has significantly capped recent recovery attempts.

On-chain metrics indicate that long-term holder positions have flattened, moving from 232.1 million to 231.55 million XRP within a four-day window. This stagnation in accumulation, combined with the technical threat of a 25% price drop toward $1.42 if support fails, highlights the risks currently facing the XRP price USD.

As demand for traditional tokens softens, the market is beginning to prioritize the next big crypto projects that integrate physical decentralized infrastructure with advanced cryptography.

ZKP Pairs Proof Pods With a Stage-Based 190M Daily Presale Model

The Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) project distinguishes itself by integrating specialized hardware with a multi-layered blockchain designed specifically for AI. At the center of this ecosystem are “Proof Pods,” dedicated prover devices optimized for executing the complex elliptic curve arithmetic required for zero-knowledge proofs. These pods enable the network to verify AI computations in approximately 2 milliseconds, ensuring data remains private while its accuracy is cryptographically proven. This infrastructure supports a decentralized marketplace where data is tokenized and monetized without the owner ever losing control or exposing raw information.

To bootstrap this network, ZKP is conducting a 17-stage crypto presale auction designed with a predictable reduction in daily supply. Currently, in Stage 2, the daily allocation is 190 million ZKP, which will decrease to 180 million ZKP once the auction moves to Stage 3. This staged reduction continues through all 17 stages, ensuring a transparent decrease in daily supply as the presale progresses.

This model is paired with a $5 million giveaway, where ten participants can win $500,000 worth of ZKP each for holding a minimum of $100 in the token and engaging with the network’s growth. As the Binance Coin price remains stagnant and the XRP price USD faces resistance, these incentives attract builders to a platform leveraging Substrate’s modularity.

Closing Note

The divergence between speculative price action and infrastructure development defines the current market. While traders watch the XRP price USD for signs of a breakdown below the $1.85 mark, the ZKP project is focused on the “build first” philosophy required for the next generation of decentralized AI.

The ability to process AI tasks through native WASM runtimes at near-native speeds gives ZKP a performance advantage over general-purpose chains. Furthermore, the $5 million prize pool and the structured supply reduction of the presale auction provide a clear economic roadmap that contrasts with the declining volumes seen in major assets.

For those searching for the next big crypto, the transition from institutional belief to mathematical proof represents a fundamental evolution. As the Binance Coin price tightens its range, the deployment of Proof Pods and the verification of high-value datasets suggest that the future of the industry lies in provable, private, and physical infrastructure.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
